Welcome to Island Haven! This waterfront getaway in Piney Island has the most beautiful views of the Assateague Channel! This spacious duplex comfortably sleeps 8 and offers a peaceful waterfront setting just minutes from the beach, dining, biking, and all that Chincoteague has to offer.
 
The main living level features an open living area with comfortable seating, a flat-screen Roku streaming TV, and large windows overlooking the water. The living room couch has a full size sleep sofa for any extra guests! Step outside to the screened porch to enjoy your morning coffee while watching the sunrise over Assateague Island, or unwind in the evening with the sound of the water and a cool island breeze. The screened porch is the perfect spot to soak up the sea salt breeze while relaxing and enjoying a peaceful escape from those summer mosquitoes!
 
Heading back inside, the dining area seats 8 and is conveniently located next to the fully equipped kitchen, making it easy to prepare and enjoy meals together. Just off the kitchen and dining area, you'll find a small front balcony-a great spot to step outside and enjoy a little fresh air! A half bath and washer/dryer are also located on this level for your convenience!
 
Upstairs, you'll find 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The primary bedroom features a queen bed, flat-screen Roku TV, and private access to a waterfront balcony. Start your morning with a cup of coffee while watching the sun rise over Assateague, or step outside in the evening to enjoy the stars. The private attached bathroom features a tub/shower combination. Heading through the hallway, bedroom 2 offers two twin beds, while bedroom 3 has a full-size bed. Both bedrooms are located at the front of the home and share a full hallway bathroom with a tub/shower combination!
 
Piney Island is one of the closest communities to Assateague National Seashore, making it easy to spend your days at the beach or exploring the island by bike. Back at Island Haven, the Assateague Channel is right in your backyard! The private pier features three water-access ladders, making it easy to enjoy fishing, crabbing, kayaking, or simply spending time by the water. At low tide, you may even spot some of Chincoteague's famous oysters along the shoreline. And if you're hoping to catch a few fish during your stay, we hear this place is a pretty good spot to try your luck! ;)
 
The deep-water dock provides a convenient place to tie up your boat. Bringing kayaks? You're welcome to bring your own, or we're happy to help arrange rentals that can be delivered right to the house. After a day at the beach, rinse off in the outdoor shower and store your beach chairs, crab traps, and other gear in the convenient outdoor storage closet. Then grab some steaks or burgers from the market and fire up the charcoal grill while the kids run around in the spacious backyard... This is what a family vacation is all about!
