We are thrilled to welcome "The Glade" to our Vacation Cottages family - a brand-new, beautifully designed home now open for the 2026 summer season. This spacious retreat accommodates 12 guests, is pet-friendly, and features 4 bedrooms, a bonus room, a loft, and 3.5 bathrooms, making it the perfect getaway for large families or groups looking to relax in comfort and style. This gorgeous three-story home is located on South Main Street, directly across from the Chincoteague Channel, and offers spectacular views of famous Chincoteague sunsets and even NASA rocket launches. Behind the house is a beautiful glade of water - which is where the name The Glade comes from!
 
As you walk up the first level, you'll find three bright and comfortable bedrooms, all featuring coastal accents, ceiling fans, and plenty of natural light. The first bedroom offers a queen-size bed and beautiful views of the Chincoteague Channel. The second bedroom features a pyramid bunk bed, perfect for kids or extra guests, with a full-size bed on the bottom and a twin on top. The third bedroom has another queen-size bed, stunning views of the glade, and direct access to the screened-in porch. Step out onto the screened-in porch to enjoy peaceful views of the glade, or relax on the front porch, which offers comfortable seating and lovely views of the channel - the perfect spot to watch boats go by. This level also includes a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo and a conveniently located laundry area with washer and dryer.
 
Heading upstairs, you'll find a bright open-concept living space that includes the kitchen, dining area, and living room. The modern, fully equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and a spacious island with bar seating - perfect for casual breakfasts or evening cocktails. With ample cabinet space and stylish pendant lighting, it's ideal for preparing meals while staying connected with the group. The dining and living area is filled with natural light and offers stunning water views through large windows and sliding glass doors. The dining table comfortably seats 8, while the cozy living area invites you to unwind after a day at the beach. Step outside to the front porch for fresh coastal air and additional outdoor seating. On this level, you'll also find the primary suite bedroom, featuring a comfortable king-size bed, a private balcony, and a luxurious ensuite bathroom with a stand-up shower and a beautiful freestanding soaking tub. A half bathroom is also located on this floor for convenience.
 
The third floor features a bright and airy loft area that overlooks the main living space below and offers beautiful water views. Furnished with versatile convertible couches that transform into chairs, twin beds, or larger sleeping spaces, this area is perfect for kids, extra guests, or a cozy movie night. Step out onto the private balcony to enjoy peaceful views of the Chincoteague Channel - an ideal spot for morning coffee, reading, or watching the boats go by! This level also includes another full bathroom with a tub/shower combo and a large bedroom with a queen-size bed.
 
Additional features of this residence include an outside shower, smart TV, dishwasher, WIFI, and five private decks/ balconies. Just a short distance to downtown main street!  No smoking. PET FRIENDLY! Accommodates 12.
